Carol’s mission is to improve mental health and transform mental health care.

She holds a vision of making good therapy accessible, rooted in compassion and kindness.
​
In 2025, she surrendered her psychologist title to become a writer and speaker offering resources to reconnect for individual and community healing.
Carol was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK where she grew up climbing trees and reading books.
She moved to Alberta with her family and has lived in Calgary, Edmonton, and now rural Alberta.

She is the lucky mother of three wonderful teenagers who continue to teach her the meaning of unconditional love.
​
Carol is the founder of Therapy Alberta and a passionate speaker on emotions, trauma, and the mind-body connection. She speaks with clarity, passion, and a presence you can feel.​
