Psychology today is changing to honor the full trauma and stress experience.

Being human can be messy and complicated.

When you're stuck in pain or fear, you can struggle with anger, anxiety, depression, relationships, stress and trauma.

If things aren’t going well at home, school or work, your mental, emotional and physical health can suffer.

Healing is possible.

Are you ready to arrive back in your body?

We are a diverse group of therapists offering trauma-sensitive therapy in Calgary & Alberta.

How do you get started with therapy?

Step 1. Match

You can choose a therapist and book a free consultation online, or contact us to be paired with the best therapist for your needs and preferences.

Step 2. Meet

Start with a consultation or first session, and talk about what’s going on now and what you'd like, to see if it's a good fit with the therapist.

Step 3. Connect

Build trust with the therapist and begin to build a relationship and work towards achieving your goals.

Find the best therapist for you and your concerns.

Therapy works online and in person.

Going to therapy is an act of self care.

Meeting with a psychologist or therapist for in person therapy is a powerful opportunity to share space with someone who really cares about you and your health.

If going to in person therapy doesn't work well for you, we'll bring therapy to you.

Online therapy is flexible, accessible, private, convenient and effective. We show up for you as our best selves, and break down barriers so more people in our community can access high quality mental health care.

We want you to feel good about therapy.

You can change your mind
and heal your body.

Therapy Alberta is an independent, profit for good, non-government therapy group practice serving Calgary & Alberta

Therapy Alberta respectfully acknowledges we are supported by the land of Turtle Island, now called Canada. Turtle Island is the home of the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have travelled, gathered, lived on and cared for these lands for centuries. Calling Canada our home is a privilege and responsibility. Declarations of land are only one component of our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.

We are committed to new communities of decolonization. We strive to create safe, affirming, anti-racist and anti-oppressive spaces to welcome and provide free mental health care for people from Indigenous, Black, Color and LGBTQ+ communities and those impacted by trauma. Support our mission today.
