Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a usable website
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Our Commitment
Therapy Alberta is a free, public resource. That only works if everyone can use it. We want our site to work well for visitors of all abilities. This includes people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive tech.
Where We’re At
Our site runs on Kajabi, and we rely partly on that platform’s built-in accessibility features. We work to make our own content and design as accessible as we can within those tools.
Our goal is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, a widely used benchmark in Canada. In October 2026, we tested our main pages with automated accessibility checkers, and they passed at the AA level. Here is some of what that work includes:
- Body text and buttons meet AA color contrast, and body text meets the stricter AAA level
- Links, buttons and form fields have names that screen readers can announce
- Links and buttons show a clear outline as you move through the site by keyboard
- Our videos have captions
Automated tests can’t catch everything, so we don’t claim full conformance yet. Some parts of our site are built by Kajabi or other services, like checkout pages, our search box and embedded forms, and we can’t always change how they work. We’ll keep checking and improving as we find barriers and as our tools change.
Tell Us What’s Not Working
Run into something on our site that’s hard to use? We want to know. Please contact us and tell us what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. We’ll do our best to fix it. In the meantime, we’ll find another way to get you what you need.
Changes to This Statement
We may update this statement as our site and our accessibility work evolve. The date at the top shows the latest update.
